Inpatient and Outpatient Support Programs
Helping youth thrive at Rancho and beyond
What the Program Offers
Our Inpatient and Outpatient Support Programs provide therapeutic services that address physical recovery, emotional well-being, and reintegration into daily life.
Programs include:
- SHARK Clinic (Strong, Healthy, and Resilient Kids), offering patient supplies, meditation classes, and parent engagement
- Animal-Assisted Therapy, where Monty the therapy dog and his trained animal friends support pediatric patients
- Helping Hands Heal, which provides uninsured adaptive medical equipment to qualifying children.
- Adolescent Support Groups
- Art Therapy workshops and outings
- Adaptive Driving Scholarships, and
- Inpatient Recreational Therapy, featuring therapeutic outings and events like the Annual Pediatric Halloween Carnival.
Why It Matters
Healing extends beyond medical treatment. These programs reduce anxiety, encourage independence, build peer connection, and restore joy and confidence during and after hospitalization — for both patients and families.
Making It Possible
Funding fills critical gaps not covered by insurance, ensuring timely access to therapy, equipment, and experiences that support whole-person healing.
