DOWNEY, CA — July 17, 2012 —For the 23rd consecutive year, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center has been named one of "America's Best Hospitals" in Rehabilitation Medicine and California's top Rehabilitation Medicine facility in the 2012-2013 U.S. News & World Report rankings, which were announced today.

Rancho was also ranked in the top 10 of all hospitals in the Greater Southern California metropolitan area, and ranked 16th among all hospitals in the entire state of California.

"Rancho is the only public rehabilitation hospital, and the only rehab facility based in California or any of our neighboring states to be ranked one of 'America's Best Hospitals' in Rehabilitation Medicine," said Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe.
